cuteenglishteacher LLC® ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), operator of cuteenglishteacher.ai® and 5dollarsaclass.com (collectively, the "Platform"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information you provide directly:

• Name and email address when you create an account or contact us
• Company/organization name (for corporate inquiries)
• Messages submitted through our contact form
• Voice input during AI coaching sessions (processed in real time — see Section 3)

Information collected automatically:

• Session history (date, time, duration, and amount paid)
• Basic usage and analytics data (pages visited, general location by region, device type) via Google Analytics

Payment information:

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect, view, or store your full credit card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all sensitive payment data directly.

• To process payments and send booking/session confirmations
• To provide AI-powered pronunciation coaching and feedback
• To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
• To track your session history so you can view your own progress
• To improve the Platform based on aggregate, anonymized usage trends

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

During AI coaching sessions, your spoken input is captured using your browser's speech recognition feature and transcribed to text in real time. This text is sent to our AI coaching engine (powered by Claude, developed by Anthropic) to generate pronunciation feedback.

Text of your coaching conversation may be temporarily processed to generate responses but is not used to train AI models outside the scope of delivering your coaching session.

• Account data and session history are stored using Supabase, which provides encryption in transit and at rest
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
• Email communications (booking confirmations, contact form responses) are sent via Resend
• We use industry-standard security practices, including HTTPS encryption for all Platform traffic

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some of our services (SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, and ASVAB coaching) are designed for students under the age of 18. For any student under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept our Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy on the student's behalf, and parental consent is required as outlined in our Private Tutoring Contract.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verified parental consent. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information without such consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information without consent may contact us at jsmetana@cuteenglishteacher.com to request deletion.

We share limited information with the following service providers solely to operate the Platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — account authentication and database storage
• Resend — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, contact form replies)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI coaching engine
• Google Analytics — aggregate website usage analytics
• Vercel — website hosting

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing how they handle data. We only share the minimum information necessary for each provider to perform its function.

You may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential email communications

The Platform uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor behavior (such as which pages are viewed and general geographic region). This data is anonymized and used only to improve the Platform. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We retain account information and session history for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time as described in Section 7.

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
